After last Saturday's Gold Coast Youth Football League (GCYFL) Freshmen Level Jamboree at Royal H.S. in Simi Valley, today the league announced the tentative 2022 season schedule.
The 15 teams being fielded at the Freshmen Level have been divided into two divisions, the American and the National.
The Stingers are currently looking at a seven game regular season.
Our beloved Stingers will be part
of the six team American Division
Besides the Stingers, the American Division will include:
Representing the city of Ventura
The Pride of Oxnard
Located in the San Fernando Valley
city of Encino
A club from the rural
community of Fillmore
Santa Barbara is the only
long trip on the Stingers slate

In the evening, the Stingers assembled for a practice at Camarillo's Freedom Park with their first game against the 805 Warhawks at Ventura HS only four days away.
