It Was a Good Day

Wednesday, May 20, 2020

Day LXXII of my International Coronavirus Lockdown was actually a pretty good one.

It started with another good Zoom meeting with our European/Mexican Coaches Exchanging group.

Our Guest Speaker was Baylor University
Defensive Coordinator Ron Roberts
whose topic was "Defending the Spread"

I first met Ron in about 1996 when he and I both worked a Bill Williams Football Camp in Hacienda Heights, California as high school coaches.

Ron did a fine job today developing his topic while keeping his pore-snap keys system simple and informative to a defense.

In the afternoon, Mike and Jacob came to the house to mostly go on a bike ride through Camarillo and then have dinner with us.

We opted for take-out from In-N-Out.

Their Double-Double with grilled onions never fails.

In today' news from the net . . .

Our Los Angeles Rams, only a season
removed from a Super Bowl appearance,
 are STUCK IN LIMBO!

I hope that they are talking about the new uniforms.

Wait the New England Patriots who beat us in that exact same Super Bowl are Stuck in Limbo too, such fine company.

Speaking of uniforms . . .

. . . this will be the rage in 2020
IF we get the green light to play

Stay strong, things will clear up eventually.
