A Quiet Day in the Isolation Ward

Friday, April 17, 2020

Day II in the California Isolation Ward was uneventful as Laurie and I simply continued to find our way to making these two weeks work.

It was a good day for reading and calling friends and family on FaceTime.

 Our neighbors George and Edna
were at it again!

We found George taping this "12" sign to the light post across from our house in order to remind me, when I look out our front window, how many more days in isolation I have.

Good neighbors INDEED!

Throwback Photo

Ryan Brucker, in the middle, sent us this picture today from ca. 1986.

Ryan's Dad, Loren, was my roommate at the University of Washington and Ryan's Mom, Sandy, was Laurie's roommate at the U. of W.

Our two sons and Ryan and his sister Cari are more like cousins than just friends.

Our son Andy (#55) and Mike (#10) are with Ryan at the Brucker's old beach house in Newport Beach, California.

Ryan says that this photo was taken after one of their famed beach football games.

Those were GREAT times INDEED!
