Day I of the California Isolation was one of boundary setting and American football.
As I may have mentioned before, our home is now divided in half so that Laurie and I can honor the agreed upon peace pact during my 14 days of mandatory Coronavirus isolated quarantine.
Today we both successfully avoided any DMZ violations with no casualties reported.
Yet.
The Rams new uniforms for 2020
If we have a 2020 season.
The helmet looks like ones sported by any of the six Mexican college teams in the country's Monterey Tech system that all share the same mascot, the Borregos.
A Borrego is a Ram.
I would give the new look a "C" grade.
After taking two days off for travel,
it was back to the Coaches Exchanging
Zoom Clinic on-line
Ernesto Alfaro, Head Coach
Tech Guadalajara Borregos
Ernesto gave us much to consider on both sides of the ball with his excellent presentation on "The Use of 4x1 Empty Sets."
See that mid-field logo?
Borregos!
Meanwhile, back in Italy . . .
The hotly anticipated FIDAF
Madden Tournament started
It's the closest that we are going to get to being on the field for some time I'm afraid.
Our Skorpions tournament opening "game" would be a North vs. South affair.
It featured Skorpion WR Filippo Petrillo against the ever dangerous Antonio Allegretti of the Barletta Mad Bulls.
Barletta is located in the region of Puglia which geographically is the heel of the Italian boot.
Filippo brought home a hard fought 27-10 victory.
Go Skorpions GO!
Only 13 more days of isolation.
