A Humid Stingers Practice and the Start of the NFL 2022 Season

Thursday, September 8, 2022

Despite the increasing humidity due to a hurricane off of the Baja California, Mexico coast, the mighty Camarillo Stingers continued their grind to excellence.

Apparently the scouting report on this Saturday's opponent, the 2-0 L.A. City Ducks, is that they are efficient running the ball outside. Thus, the Stingers worked hard tonight on drills stressing outside contain/force and proper anti-cutback angles of pursuit.

Jacob is the second Stinger
on this tackle, effective but still
not devastating

We'll all feel much better when he finally discovers the thrill and/or joy of hitting with his shoulder pads.

Still grabbing but he held on

Jacob running the ball and
stretching the defense

I thought that he looked both good and relatively fast on this play.

Getting open on a Curl Route

Here comes the Free Safety
to spoil all the fun

No problem, just run another
pass route

Well, that was not the season opening,
Super Bowl title defending result
that all of us Rams fans wanted

We only have 16 more NFL games left to get this campaign back on track.
