A Delightful Sunday at Home

Sunday, October 19, 2025
As I mentioned in yesterday's second post, our usual Los Angeles Rams' game watch party would view a recording of today's Rams (4-2) vs. Jacksonville Jaguars (4-2) game in London's historic Wembley Stadium that kicked off at 6:30 a.m. Pacific Time.

At about 9:00 a.m., we were joined by Michael and Jacob to see the . . .

Excellent game by the Rams!

The Rams improved to 5-2 and a momentary spot alone atop the NFC West until the 49ers (4-2) played later tonight and the Seahawks (4-2) on Monday night.

Jacksonville's 4-3 record puts them in second place in the AFC South standings behind the Indianapolis Colts (6-1).

Now that Jacob's Pop Warner season is over, we spent much of our morning planning our annual college football journey. In 2022, we hit a Washington game in Seattle. The 2023 trip took us to New York to watch an Army game at West Point. Last year, in 2024, we had a great trip to a Navy game at Annapolis and to see several Civil War battlefields.

We are still trying to figure out our strategy for a November trip this Fall.

We got a surprise text message late in the afternoon from Paul Sabolić.

Paul's family was going to be at
Camarillo's most popular donut shop,
could we possibly join them?

Glazed donuts at 4:00 p.m.?

Well, DUH!

We were there in a flash!

Good times as usual with good friends, Joanne and Paul.

Reading Is FUNdamental!

Engaging but not as gripping as usual
