Let's Celebrate!

This was the day, 124 years ago, that Cuba gained its formal independence following the Spanish-American War and a subsequent period of United States military occupation. It is the official date of the birth of the Republic of Cuba.

The current Cuban regime does not celebrate this date but the Cubans in exile around the globe still do.

Given today's U.S. Department of Justice's indictment of former Cuban leader Raul Castro on charges of murder and our own regime's "excursion" willingness, the U.S. military may soon be occupying Cuba again sometime soon.

Stay tuned . . .

Principal Vanessa, in the middle,
had Los Angeles Rams Cheerleaders
teaching kids today at her school

Laurie and I were busy today in search of nutrients.

We started at the Estabalos Meat Market in Camarillo.

Their Al Pastor meat looked good . . .

. . . the pig's feet, NOT SO MUCH!

We opted to purchase, and share, one of their excellent bacon breakfast burritos instead.

A wise dietary decision.

Later in the morning, we headed over to the Oxnard Costco for our monthly shopping spree.

These Sicilian sodas looked
AWESOME!

Then I read the Nutrition Facts

With each Sicilian soda containing 34 grams of Carbohydrates including 26 grams of sugar. It was a no sale for this health conscious shopper.

This team in the south of Italy
received a box of  of our donated
clothing today

The box had these white UnderArmour
pants and blue socks courtesy of
Agoura H.S.

I think that they look great with the Vespe's jerseys.

Fun poster for this weekend's clash
in the suburbs of Bogota, Colombia

The current state of recruiting
is all about Camps and Showcases

A player needs to get noticed any way that he can nowadays.
