26 de Julio, 2022
In Fidel Castro's Communist Cuba, the 26th of July is a HUGE holiday.
On the 26th of July, 1953, Castro's rag tag troops stormed the Cuban army barracks at Santiago de Cuba in their initial attempt to overthrow Cuba's dictator Fulgencio Batista. They were soundly defeated on this day but from then on, Castro's revolutionary ideas became known as Movimiento 26 de Julio.
The Movimiento 26 de Julio Flag
On January 1, 1959, Batista took his dictatorship and fled the country. With Fidel Castro now in power, so started 63+ years of a new and improved Communist dictatorship.
The Cuban Flag
Not that anyone connected with the Camarillo Stingers much cares about Cuban history, so it's on to today's practice.
Jacob in RED socks today
I liked yesterday's traditional white socks much better.

TACKLING
This whole up-down thing is new to our favorite, budding athlete.
I liked the way he shot his arms on his tackle.

More change of direction work
The entire change of direction drill
This is the last drill of today's agility/conditioning circuit, fatigue probably becoming a problem.
