Jacob requested that I put up a blog post today in an effort to set some sort of a record for most posts in a month or year perhaps.
Thus I am, but we have a long way to go to set any records as near as I can tell.
I have no idea what the record is for most posts in a month and am too lazy to look it up at the moment.
The most posts on this blog in a year was in 2008, my first EuroBall coaching experience in Sicily with the Catania Elephants. It was the first full year of the blog and I posted a whopping 367 times!
Today's post is the 95th of 2023.
The most posts in non-EuroBall coaching years were in 2022 with 168 posts and in 2011 with 125 posts.
We would need another 31 posts between now and December 31st to surpass 2011.
Possible.
After practice today,
the Stingers version of
"The Green Mountain Boys"
Camden, on the left, is a stellar, ten year-old lineman for the Stingers. He is wearing a green Pacifica H.S. jersey at practice because he can.
Jacob is our jack-of-all-trades DE, CB, TE, WR and all-important Long Snapper. He is wearing green pants because his normal, two year-old practice pants are torn beyond repair.
A good look for these two youngsters.
News from the net . . .
FACT!
Irrefutable Logic
Probably a quote from Mr. Spock of Star Trek fame.
This sounded GREAT!
Tempting but then I found out that tickets sell for $95 to $170 per person.
Do you know how much food we could order in Varese, Italy for $95?
I'l have to pass.
In Spain, on the island of Mallorca,
American football recruiting is in full swing
Only nine FBS teams are still undefeated
From left to right, top to bottom: Florida State, Oklahoma, Michigan, Ohio State, Liberty, Air Force, Washington, Georgia and James Madison
Go Huskies GO!
By Conferences, here are the 30 teams
that currently have the minimum
six wins necessary to be bowl eligible
Glad to see the soon to be defunct PAC-12 Conference have five schools (USC, Washington, Oregon State, Oregon and Utah) ready to play in the post-season.
Only the Big-10 and Southeast Conferences can match the Pac-12's five, six win teams.
This weekend is the last one before next Tuesday's Halloween festivities, so we need to get in the proper mood.
The Florida State Seminoles got this
right for their game against the
Wake Forest Demon Deacons on Saturday
I'm getting into that mood too
Stay safe my friends . . .
