This novel, set in today's America, deals with a mythical, dying Los Angeles Black ghetto enclave called Dickens.

This extremely well written and fast paced book's premise is having one of its Black citizens decide to bring back both slavery and segregation to Dickens in an effort to rebuild the community and its long dormant pride.

The journey will wind up with our protagonist defending his ideas in front of the United States Supreme Court.

This is a highly entertaining read that I heartily recommend.

How many did you get right?

I found it surprising that even though the Oklahoma Sooners have produced four Heisman Trophy winning QBs (2003 Jason White, 2008 Sam Bradford, 2017 Baker Mayfield and 2018 Kyler Murray) their only Super Bowl winning QB is Jalen Hurts, a transfer from Alabama.

Yes, I have much too much time on my hands.
