Though, in theory, this post is about today's three NFL Wild Card playoff games. We'll start with some social commentary first.

End Tom Fears (Santa Clara/UCLA), #55, was so good that he is listed twice in Tier 6 of the previous photo.

QB Bob Waterfield (UCLA), #7, is listed on Tier 4.

QB Norm "Dutch" Van Brocklin (Oregon), #25, is rated as a Tier 3 Ram.

For context, Indiana's Heisman Trophy winning QB, Fernando Mendoza, is of Cuban-American ancestry and grew up in Miami.

Miami's Head Coach, Mario Cristobal, is also of Cuban-American ancestry and, of course, Miami is almost Cuba's 16th province.

Hopefully, the USA won't invade Cuba until after the opening kickoff.
