After a long day in the Sun during Saturday's track meet, we opted to stay home to slowly recharge our batteries.
Joyfully, we received a few photos from last Friday evening's Camarillo Cosmos season ending BBQ and Awards Night.

The 6-0 Varese Skorpions hosted
the 0-6 Bologna Warriors today
Definitely not a marquee match-up but it was on the schedule and a Varese win would guarantee the Skorpions both the #1 seed in the fast approaching playoffs as well as an all-important First Round playoff bye.

On Saturday the Firenze Guelfi's
beat the Ancona Dolphins
The Guelfi thus laid claim to the IFL's #2 playoff seed and the last remaining First Round playoff bye.

Varese easily outdistanced the Warriors
The Skorpions win early this morning California time and a quick posting of their game video to the HUDL app meant but one thing, I had a ton of video analysis to do for the team today.
Mission Accomplished!
There is now only one last weekend left in the 2024 IFL regular season with the First Round of the playoffs set for June 8-9.
