It was another chaotic day in Mexico City, a.k.a., Ciudad de Mexico, a.k.a, CDMX. As we get closer and closer to our game Saturday morning, the distractions get bigger.
Yes indeed, the BIG game
is set for this Saturday at 11:00 a.m.
local time
We started the day with a 90 minute drive to Saturday's game stadium for a workout.

After our practice, we had a Media Day with members of the local press. Of course, our Team Photographer, Sue Valdivia, was busy advancing the Warriors' cause.
We are an International Team, you know
Team Mexico was IN THE HOUSE
Regarded as the best Women's
Running Back in Mexico
I'm sure that we'll see a lot of her come game time.

Go Cheyennes GO!
The Cheyennes were quite open to meeting our game day needs. They will provide a great venue on Saturday
The bus ride back to the hotel took just under two hours which was about an hour more than I had wanted.
Still . . .
We checked out some
interesting tattoos on our bus
I liked this one too
Lunch with Coach Honza, four street tacos
and a Coke each, all for just
about $5.00 USD total
The afternoon practice starting up
This was a high energy practice with lots of good plays on both sides.
I was still hungry at 10:oo p.m., as were coaches Bart, Marc and Honza.
Only one thing to do in a case like this . . .
. . . find a grimy street taco stand
They worked hard for their pesos

three street tacos in the foreground
I stopped after five of these delicious taco wonders.
The cost you ask? A mere $.50/taco.
WOW! Mexico, what a country!
