Shopping in Ventura and the Weekend's Global American Football Schedule

Friday, June 7, 2024
A quiet day punctuated by an eclectic shopping spree in equally eclectic downtown Ventura.

The Post Office is long gone

This classic building survives today by housing shops vending all sorts of soon to be cherished knick-knacks.

We bought several including two olive oils, one balsamic vinegar, a carved wooden bread tray, a hazelnut liqueur and a table lamp.

Happy wife, happy life.

A MUST win ELF game for both teams

In their initial ELF seasons in 2023, the Swiss Helvetic Guards/Mercenaries were 3-9 while the Italy's Milano Seamen struggled to a 2-10 record.

The currently o-1 Mercenaries and 0-2 Seamen both need to right their ELF ships NOW!
