Saturday, 7 February, 2015, Late Night Update:
I met Roberto and Imma Durán for a late dinner by American standards but an early one by Spanish customs. We needed some sustenance before our long bus ride to Zaragoza and the Duráns know all of the fabulous hole-in-the-wall dining spots that Murcia has to offer.
So, we tried one.
This place looked authentic
The fact that we ate in one building but that the kitchen is in the adjacent building with an opening just big enough to pass the food from one building to the other only added to Las Jarras' ambiance.
Spicy HOT Tapas!!!
They are called Reclutas, Recruits in English. Think churro filled with meat with a fiery but good sauce on top.
We each had two.
Then the rest of the tapas arrived
Throw in a couple of beers and we were fortified for the ride to Zaragoza!
Roberto and Imma
GREAT people!!!
