Another day of adventure loomed on Laurie's last day in Seattle before returning home to Camarillo later in the evening.
As usual, I had to check out the boating action in the Montlake Cut first thing in the morning . . .

At lunch time we picked up the Johnson's youngest daughter, Mallory, who is a Sophomore at the UW majoring in Computer Science.
In a recent Facebook post a random site had named the best street tacos venue in each of the 50 states and the District of Columbia.
The state of Washington's street taco heaven is located in Seattle's Ballard district, so away we went!
El Camión was the call
El Camión is Spanish for truck and they do indeed have Food Trucks to take their great street tacos out to meet the public's, if not President Trump's, demand for delicious Mexican cuisine.
We opted to dine at El Camión's lone brick and mortar site.

Sated, we then drove over to the UW Athletic Department to talk about some aid for EuroBall.
As it turns out, at the conclusion of this academic year in late May, the UW Athletic Department and all of their teams, will be switching from the current Nike gear contract to a new one with Addidas.
That means that they will have to get rid of all of their current Nike gear in May. For EuroBall purposes that means lots of possible game and practice jerseys and pants available at a low cost.
A few years ago, at the UW's Surplus Store, we were able to buy high quality, used pants and jerseys for a mere $1 each.
Our goal was to find out when the no longer needed football gear might come up for sale as NCAA rules prohibit giving away gear for free.
