A Day of Rest and a Night of Mariners Football

Tuesday, March 25, 2025

After three consecutive days on the road going to and returning from Zaragoza with the Mariners and then exploring the beautiful Costa Verde villages to the East of us, we needed a day to simply veg out.

So we did.

It was an overcast, cold day so we did what we love to do at home in Camarillo. We sat around in our pajamas and watched old time, black and white movies on YouTube while snacking on usually banned foods.

Good Times Doing Nothing!

There was some work on HUDL to be accomplished but I could not do much about grading and commenting on our Zaragoza game as that video was not uploaded to HUDL until extremely late in the afternoon.

We did have practice tonight, so there was work to be done in the evening.

Our Youth Flag team was back to
their usual shorthanded practice

As for our Senior Tackle squad,
also as usual we were working
with half line alignments

We only had three Offensive Linemen and two Defensive Linemen in attendance healthy enough to participate in contact work on this fine evening.

We had 23 Mariners show up tonight but five did not dress out because of various injured limbs that were in serious need of rest.

Life with the Mariners continues . . .

Osos Rivas (4-3) at Gijón Mariners (1-6)
Saturday at 4:00 p.m.

Hit me up if you need tickets to our season finale.
