Today was an occasion for a family gathering in Las Vegas to celebrate a new chapter in all of our lives.
Michael's family all dressed up
for the big event
I was in "Business Casual" mode
We were posing in front of one of the many Christmas trees in the lobby area of the well appointed Green Valley Ranch Resort, Spa and Casino.
As for our son Andrew, he was awaiting us at the nearby Legacy Golf Club, but definitely not for 18 holes.
Today Andrew would start a new
life path by marrying Jill and
uniting their two families
Our family and good friends were
present to support and celebrate
the blessed event

Maybe not.
The kids of all ages had fun at the
reception's Photo Booth

Andrew and Jill's First Dance
They reminded me of Fred and Ginger in their prime.
Preparing to cut a rug during the
traditional Mother-Son Dance
It was heart warming to be sure and then morphed into . . .
. . . a Grandmother-Grandson Dance
This "Ball and Chain" antic is a
tradition in Jill's family weddings
Andrew played along without much complaining.
You had to be there.
The Wedding Cake
All smiles while cutting the cake
Please, be civil . . .
A loving smear

after about 20 minutes of suffering
Catching the Bouquet . . .
. . . and now for the Catching of the Garter
Kevin was the lucky Garter catcher
A good time was had by all as we
bid adieu to the new couple in
their newly decorated truck
It was a wonderful event.
Laurie and I wish Andrew and Jill and their four children all the best in the many years to come.
CONGRATULATIONS!
