Las Vegas Family Weekend

Friday - Monday,
July 31st - August 3rd

Our Las Vegas weekend continued to be both hot and fun!

How good it not be fun with
these two in the house?

On Friday, I joined sons Andy and Mike for a quick trip to the local sports stores for two of Las Vegas' teams.

Is that a bug?

No, it's the weird looking logo
of the local AAA baseball team

They play in a nice new, but
closed for the season, stadium

The NHL's Vegas Golden Knights
practice facility is next door
the Aviators stadium

We were all masked except
for Chance the mascot

The Washington Huskies announced
their new ten game schedule

If the Coronavirus allows any of this to happen.

Doubtful . . .

100% for this

In his day,
"The buck stopped here"

I agree with this as well

On Sunday, Mike and I went to the local French bakery to purchase some heavenly croissants and pain au chocolats.

There was a car show in the
French bakeries parking lot

Another nice Porsche

This one looked like it
could definitely fly

A 1952 VW bug

A backyard swimming hole
always beats the heat

Today Las Vegas,
tomorrow Muscle Beach!

Cousins being cousins

Good times with
Jacob and Kevin

A GREAT place for Mexican
take-out food on a Sunday night!

August 3, 2011 was the day
Kevin was born and we became
Grandparents for the first time

On Monday he turned NINE!

One of his coolest presents

Abby and Jacob

The Three Amigos
back in the pool

Isn't this the truth

It seems like such a simple
thing to do in my opinion

Andy making his delicious version
of the Cuban roll vieja dish

His twist on the way he serves his
ropa vieja is to roll it into a
large flour tortilla and then fry them

OH MY!

He made 20 of these rope vieja
flautas, WOW!

Cousins again . . .

. . . being cousins!

HAPPY NINTH
BIRTHDAY
KEVIN!
