Hot, Humid Packing Day

Monday, 4 May, 2015:

The weather continues to be hot and sticky and, quite frankly,  a pain in the neck for all of us fat people in Murcia.

The day was spent doing last minute preparations including renting a car, getting hotel rooms, books to read and, of course, laundry before we start The Circumnavigation of the Iberian Peninsula.

Our 17 day road trip's itinerary currently is looking like we will make the following stops: Nerja, Málaga, Gibraltar, Cádiz, Sevilla, Lisbon, Porto, Salamanca, Santiago de Compostela, Oviedo, Gijón, Santander, Bilbao, San Sebastian, Andorra, Barcelona and Valencia.

Between Andorra and Barcelona, we are planning to leave the Peninsula to head to Lyon to watch the Bron-Villeurbanne Falcons Division II semi-final playoff game on May 17th.

We were able to rent a car with unlimited kilometers from Murcia's Enterprise agency for only 22.45 Euros per day.

Our first stop is two days on the Mediterranean beach in Nerja. Since our plans are extremely fluid, if we really like it, we could stay in Nerja for the entire 17 days!

Who knows?

Reading Is FUNdamental

 GREAT READ!!!
