We were excited to attend a fun reunion of parts of our old Westlake H.S. Warriors football staff from the 1980s tonight.
Seven of us met at the Viva La Pasta! Italian Cuisine restaurant in Simi Valley for what turned out to be a most enjoyable two and a half hours of rekindling old and new memories while enjoying good Italian food.
L. to R. around the horn:
Gary McGinnis, Lynette Andreolli,
Debi Murphy, Gail McGinnis,
Laurie Contreras, Andy Andreolli and
George Contreras
We had so much fun that we are already planning another meal in January after the holidays.
Your #57 Washington Huskies
At least we are in the top half of the rankings.
Is the coveted Duke's Mayo Bowl bid still on the table?
One of the greatest spectacles
in SoCal high school football
returns on Friday
We attended last year's 90th edition of the East L.A. Classic, a raucous 37-30 Garfield win.
It was a great experience that every high school aficionado should attend at least once.
The Tampa Bay Rays extended the
World Series in avoiding a sweep
in Game 4 tonight, winning in
12 action packed innings
The Milwaukee Brewers still hold a commanding 3-1 World Series games lead, still needing just one more victory to claim the crown.
Game 5 of the World Series takes place tomorrow in Florida.
It is always fun to reconnect
with old friends!
