It was our last full day in paradise before flying home on Wednesday, so we opted to enjoy the best that Maui has to offer one last time.
A morning Farmer's Market
was the first order of the day
Lots of looking but no buying.
Worked for me.
A good morning at our local
favorite beach known as
Kamaole Beach III
Laurie liked the Sun and this
little sand crab near her beach chair
I liked going into the Pacific Ocean
Often.
The long sleeve shirt saved me from the penetrating rays of the western Sun.
After a few hours on this wonderful beach, we were back at the condo packing and cleaning things up before our imminent departure.
In the evening we met Mark's high school friend Gene, his wife Connie and their friends from Grants Pass, Oregon, Steve and Robin for Happy Hour at the nearby Manakai Resort's 5 Palms Bar and Restaurant.
Our scenery at the 5 Palms was
PERFECT!
Happy Hour Celebrants
Happy Hour at the 5 Palms was fun, but now it was time for our trip's final Hawaiian Magic Hour.
Sunset in Kihei . . .
. . . as seen from our beloved
Kamaole Beach III
It was an even better week than we expected.
MAHALO
Mark and Susie!
