After a weekend full of travel, meetings and hoopla, it was finally time to strap on the pads and buckle up he helmets as . . .
. . . YOUR Europe Warriors
held practice in preparation for
our game against the UACH Águuilas

Arriving at UACH's Olympic Stadium

It looked to be a BEAUTIFUL day
for American football!

Closing comments
We had a good first practice that was both spirited and competitive.
As it usually is with 43 aggressive men practicing together for the first time, it was an opportunity for everyone to mark their territory.
Lunch at the Taco Shack
We had a bit of free time before lunch at the hotel and meetings so, of course, we went out for tacos.
This spot was good but it took more than 20 minutes to get our tacos, definitely not what I wanted!
And I was seated next to the 49ers
gear in the Taco Shop
That did it! No more Taco Shop for me.
Interesting art outside of our meeting room
Back at it for the day's second workout
The cloud formations were interesting

as we ended practice and . . .
. . . the Águilas began theirs on our
shared practice field
Day One of our preparation was in the books and the coaching staff was happy with the team's effort and attention to detail.
Go Warriors GO!

OK, so why "Olympic Stadium"? Was an event held there in 1968? Was it a practice facility?
Beats me?
