Jacob Vincent Contreras is IN THE HOUSE!!!

Today is a GREAT day for the Contreras family regardless of what time zone we may be in!!!

It was St. Patrick's Day and she was very pregnant and ready to pop, it was her Due Date afterall. The baby would be late, but not by much as it turned out.

I was awakened in the wee hours of Monday morning Swiss time with the fantastic news that little Jacob had finally arrived on Sunday California time.

Jacob's vital statistics were 7 lbs. 13 ozs and 1 foot 10 inches tall or 22 inches long if you prefer.

For all of our friends in Italy, Sweden and Switzerland, he was 3.54 kilos and 55.88 centimeters at birth.

He officially entered the world at 4:30 p.m. (16:30), California time, on Sunday, March 18, 2012. That was 2:30 a.m. Monday, Swiss time.

He entered our hearts months ago.

It appears that all went well for both of them during the delivery.

Congratulations, I couldn't be happier.

Well actually, I will be happier this Summer when I get to hold Jacob for the first time and see Kevin again as well.
