Quiet Day

Mats Sundin

SWEDISH FACT-OF-THE-DAY:
Mats Sundin, nicknamed "Sudden" and "Captain Clutch," was a long time National Hockey League star who played most of his 18 year career for the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Amazingly, I did not take a single photograph today! This could be a first in my three years living in Europe.

After four days of sports mania, I opted for a quiet day in Icelandia.

At practice tonight we had 18 players in attendance as we prepared for the final game of the 2010 season, a road game at the home of the 7-0 Kristianstad C4 Lions. It was spirited but I wish we had a better turnout to prepare for this very strong team.
