The Skorpions were at it again today on what was a sunny, hot Friday morning!
Under the leadership of Prima Squadra DB Coach Dario D'Adelfio, we were hosting about 30 youngsters from a local elementary school at Skorpion Field for a two hour Introduction to American Football learning session.
They were a good group to work
with today and having their
teachers with us helped greatly!
Warm-Up Agility Drills
were a big hit . . .
. . . as was catching that
funny shaped ball
She is doing a fine job of
tracking the ball
A Student QB passing
to a Student WR
"OH MY GOD,
IT'S COMING AT ME!"
One-on-One Pass Drill
She caught the ball, good for her.
It was a good experience for everyone today I think. We will be doing this again Friday mornings the next seven weeks as well.
On the way home from the kid's training session, I stopped off for a much deserved gelato. Near the Gelateria, I saw this book in a window apparently about the life of our Women's Flag team standout WR/DB Marianna "Tex" Tessera
Amazing, it says she is 70 but I don't
think that she looks day over 24
Laurie and I had two great panini
today for lunch al fresco at one
of Varese's best dining spots,
Dorigo's
Not sure who turned our Quarter-Final
Game poster into a cartoon look but I like it!
GAME DAY TOMORROW!
