Easy Day, So-So Practice

Thursday, 14 March, 2019

As has become the norm this year, the day after a Wanderlust Wednesday has become a chance for me to get some much needed rest and to recuperate just a bit.

I'm getting older you know.

It was a domestic morning as laundry and cooking ruled the day in the Villa Skorpion II.

Varese's City Government Complex

I took the bus into town to exchange two old DVDs for a pair of new ones at the public library which is housed in the left wing of this large structure.

It was a nice afternoon so I sat down at this bench and did a little reading al fresco.

As Thursday evening approached, it meant that it was time for another full night of Skorpion football practices.

Oh, now I get it

We started our Prima Squadra practice at 8:15 p.m. with mixed results.

Our overall numbers were down again but we did have more linemen tonight.

Two of our starting Offensive Linemen sustained injuries during the evening.

For the second consecutive practice, we definitely improved individually but not so much from a team execution standpoint.

We hopefully will be more focused after this weekend's bye and have two good practices next week as we prepare to host the 1-0 Palermo Sharks on Saturday, March 23rd at 11:30 a.m.
