- I have been married to my bride Laurie for over 37 years. We have two sons, Andy, 35, who lives in Las Vegas, Nevada with his bride Jenn who he married on February 4, 2009. Mike, 33, who lives in Somis, California with his bride Vanessa who he married on August 8, 2009. Although I retired from teaching in June of 2007, I continue with my hobby, coaching high school football. The 2009 football season marked my 40th year of coaching football at four high schools in Southern California's Ventura County, Thousand Oaks H.S., Westlake H.S., Rio Mesa H.S., Buena H.S. and then back again to Rio Mesa H.S. In 2008, I opted to try something totally different in my coaching career and took a job as the Defensive Coordinator of the Italian Football League's Catania Elephants. I was honored to be their Head Coach in 2009. In 2010 I will serve as the Head Coach of the Hässleholm Hurricanes in Sweden's American Football League. Join me as I explore and chronicle my newest adventures coaching American football in Sweden and touring in Europe.
