Rainy Rams NFL Sunday

Sunday, 23 October, 2016:

The rain continued today, so taking a walk into town was no longer on the agenda.

Still there were a few things to report.

Stings 2017 Scheduled Announced

The Guadalajara Stings will play seven games in the 2017 Madrid League, Serie C season including five home games as a couple of clubs had trouble securing a home field.

Here is the Stings 2017 schedule:

January 15 vs. the Madrid Capitals
January 29 vs. the Tres Cantos Jabatos

February 12 at the Majadahonda Wildcats
February 26 vs. the Alcobendas Osos

March 12 at the Alcorcon Smilodons
March 26 vs. the Madrid Toros

April 9 vs. the Colada Camioneros

BUENA SUERTA STINGS!

Happy Royal Oaks Knights

Got this photo from Knights' Head Coach Marco Chómon today of a group of very happy players after their stunning 43-30 victory over the Rota Admirals yesterday.

In the early afternoon, the family packed into the Land Rover for a trip to the mall.

The things Spaniards buy

Nice but no real men's sizes

GIGANTIC mortadella in the
Carrefour Market

We needed to purchase a few supplies in order to properly watch the Rams take on the Giants from London today.

Nice ham selection

Pet Shop specializing in mascots

A real live bear as an Osos Rios mascot would be awesome!

 I was sporting my colors
for the Rams-Giants game

Jesús hooked up the TV to
his computer so we could
watch the game

Final Score: Giants (4-3) 17 - Rams (3-4) 10

We were joined by Ricardo Martín and enjoyed watching American football on the Red Zone after the Rams game was over.

Jesús made great wings and burgers to help get through the pain of another Rams loss.

GRACIAS!

As for the COUNTDOWN . . .

. . . more days until Laurie
arrives in Madrid
