HUDL Video Day and a Good Learning Day at Practice

Saturday, 24 March, 2018

It was all about finally getting last Saturday's game 100% behind us today.

I spent the morning and early afternoon using our team's HUDL app to finish breaking down the Blue Storms game video and then doing statistics and award decals based off of said breakdown.

In other words, it was a quiet day indoors for the most part.

At 4:00 p.m., our Skorpions were meeting for the usual Saturday practice.

Our numbers were a bit down, especially in the Offensive Line, such is life coaching in EuroBall.

I worked with our Defensive, mostly with the line and linebackers, going over reads and reactions. I thought that we had a good session.

Giorgio Nardi and Santa Barbara

Today was Giorgio's 54th birthday, so after practice we just had to tip an adult beverage or two in his honor.

Giorgio and Barbara are the backbone of our Skorpion intelligentsia, we would have a hard time replacing them and their levels of dedication and hard work.

Good people!

7-on-7 Saturday

Collision about to happen

Although the Senior team has a bye this weekend, our three Flag teams (U17, U15 and U17) will be going at it on Sunday in Milan going against their counterparts from the Milan Seamen, Gallarate G-Team and Busto Arsizio Blue Storms. The first game is at 9:30 a.m.

At 1:30 p.m., the two co-leaders of our Senior squad's DII Group C will meet and I will be there to scout the game. It will be a contest between the Cagliari Crusaders (1-0) at the Busto Arsizio Blue Storms (1-0).

It will be a busy American football Sunday but still we need to focus on our mantra for the next two weeks . . .

BEAT THE KNIGHTS!
