A Few More Rose Bowl Photos and a Fun Lunch Date

Thursday, January 3, 2019

We'll start this post with a few more pictures from last Tuesday's 105th edition of the Rose Bowl taken by our son Michael.

Husky Hope in the Fourth Quarter

The rose on the back of his hat signifies that it is his first Husky Rose Bowl experience. Mike's UW hat sports four roses, mine has eight.

The 20 point Husky Fourth Quarter onslaught made the final 28-23 score close even if the game itself really wasn't.

Thanks to Ohio State's #1 alumni and cheerleader, Milan Seamen Head Coach Mike Wood, for sending me this incredible picture.

I hope to see Mike again soon when I return to Varese to coach the Skorpions in two weeks. Mike coached the Seamen to the 2018 Italian DI title last Spring and is the odds on favorite to repeat in 2019.

On Tuesday I enjoyed a fun lunch
date with my former Rio Mesa HS
colleague Martha Jimenez-Ito at the
Thousand Oaks Cheesecake Factory

Red velvet cheesecake . . . YUM!
