The Spanish Federation of American Football
made some key announcements this week

First was the finalization of the
two Serie A Conferences for 2025

Gijón Mariners
Las Rozas Black Demons
Osos Rivas
Zaragoza Hurricanes

2025 Eastern Conference

Terrassa Reds

Each team plays eight regular season games vs. their four conference rivals only.

The two conferences do not play each other until the four team playoffs that bring each conference's top two teams into post-season play.

Let's take a look at our club's 2025 schedule

Expansion news from the
European League of Football

The ELF has announced the addition of an 18th team in 2025 that will use two cities in two countries as their home bases.

The two cities are Copenhagen, Denmark and Malmö, Sweden located about 25 miles apart and connected by the spectacular, five mile long  Øresund Bridge.

This new club will be known as the Copenhagen/Malmö Nordic Storm.

I absolutely love the choice of Nordic Storm as their nickname.

Someone on the internet was
hallucinating today

Tonight should have warranted another edition of a Friday Night Lights road trip for us.

The problem was that with high schools opening league play next week, most of them opted to play Week 0 games creating a bye week for them in Week 5.

Thus there were only two high school games scheduled tonight to be played in Ventura County and neither of them drew our interest.

We instead opted to stay home and watch the 5:00 p.m. kickoff of the Washington Huskies (3-1, 1-0 BIG-10) at the Rutgers Scarlet Knights (3-0, 0-0 BIG-10) on TV.

Seattle, Washington is a LONG way
from Piscataway, New Jersey
for a BIG-10 Conference game

OUCH!

Three missed Field Goal attempts by the Huskies and a bizarre blocked Rutgers Field Goal attempt that was nullified due to an excited Husky player coming off the sidelines to celebrate while the play was still in progress.

Instead of the Huskies having the ball, the penalty gave the Scarlet Knights a new set of downs. They scored a TD on the next play, talk about a critical mistake!

The game's stat page offered little solace

The Huskies had a huge advantage in total yards, 521-299, but it's all about points not yards in the end.

Being a Husky fan is not easy at times.

NO DOUBT!

1,000% TRUE!
