Fri. & Sat., August 10-11, 2018
And so it begins . . .
Our third Europe Warriors adventure in Mexico started with a drive to the Burbank Airport on Friday afternoon to pick up . . .
. . . Nicolas Principi and Marta Crosta
He will be playing for the Europe Warriors in our game against the Universidad Autonoma de Chihuahua (UACH) Águilas next Saturday while she will be vacationing with Laurie in California.
Dick's Sporting Goods
For a European player like Nicolas looking to buy some American football gear. Dick's is like a five year old going to Disneyland.
Joyous.

Mike will join us in Mexico as a DB coach aiding veteran coach Dale Widolff.
On Saturday morning we headed
to LAX to start the long trip to Mexico
The flight to Houston was on time
Houston's airport is nice
in Texas
Italy again in January

Canadian DB Danny Tam was in the house!
He was also waiting for our same flight to Chihuahua.
Finally, we were off to Mexico
about an hour and 40 minutes late
about an hour and 40 minutes late
A 20 minute Uber ride got us to the Fiesta Inn, our home for the next week, where we hooked up with LB Mike Garza.
The bulk of the Warriors squad would arrive in Chihuahua via Madrid and Mexico City on Sunday.
We were all hungry so after checking into the hotel, we opted to explore our neighborhood late at night looking for some sustenance.
Looked good but it had just closed
as was almost every dining spot
we came across was closed except . . .
. . . this street hot dog vendor set
up in front of his home
DELICIOUS!
After a grueling travel day and fully sated, it was time for bed to get some rest before the rest of the Warriors arrived tomorrow.
