The agenda called for another Camarillo H.S. Frosh football Marmonte League game with family friend Debi Murphy in tow to watch her grandson Holtz play.
In the morning we received a nice photo of Jacob taken by the Gray team's photographer at last Saturday's Camarillo Stingers Senior Night Ceremonies.
So proud of this young man
On to the game which looked to be a good one if Camarillo could overcome a season ending injury to their starting QB on the opening drive of last week's loss to Simi Valley.
By the way, this would be the 50th flag or tackle football game that I have attended in calendar year 2025, first in Spain last Winter and now in California this Fall.

The Frosh Scorpions will play their final game of the 2025 season next Thursday at home vs. the Dos Pueblos H.S. Chargers (1-3-1).
While we were sitting high above the field at Camarillo H.S., the Los Angeles Dodgers were at home playing in the third game of the National League Championship Series with a 2-0 lead in this Best of Seven affair.
Make that a 3-0 lead!

When I checked on tickets to the Washington at Michigan game in the second game of the 2021 season, the cheapest tickets were in the End Zone for $450 USD each.

Granted, this FBS DI game was played on Wednesday with a 1-5 UTEP team visiting 0-6 Sam Houston in a Conference USA skirmish but still, only 671 people in attendance?
UCLA crowds look much better through this Texas prism.
By the way, UTEP (2-6, 1-2 CUSA) beat Sam Houston (0-7, 0-4 CUSA).
We may have had more people at the Camarillo Frosh game today.
