It was a GREAT day to be at sea, so we headed towards the Pacific Ocean.
We went directly to the Ventura Harbor
As I said, it was a BEAUTIFUL day!
We got to the harbor before most of the shops and restaurants were open, so we decided to stroll and take in the sights.

Finally, businesses started to open up including the one that we wanted to use today, the Ventura Boat Rentals.
Laurie and I would be joined by friends Debi, Louise and Cathy on a one hour cruise of the harbor on a rented 16 foot electric Duffy boat.

We all had a simply smashing time on our cruise which required a mandatory debriefing at Brophy Brothers Seafood Restaurant for some of their famous clam chowder and shrimp cocktails.
It was a splendid day at sea.

It's an all-Warsaw affair as the Eagles (10-0) and Mets (9-1) square off. The Eagles beat the Mets, 31-6, when they met in a regular season game on June 29th.
