The Pop Warner Playoff brackets were announced late this afternoon but before we break that down . . .
The Rams lost another close one
at home against the Steelers
I cannot stress enough how competitive the 3-4 Rams have been in this season that started with extremely low expectations.
Their four losses have come by a total of only 26 points with the worst one coming at the hands of the Philadelphia Eagles (6-1) by nine points.
The Huskies lackluster performance
against Arizona State last Saturday did
not change their #5 ranking this week
The Dawgs will need to generate a solid, not necessarily great, running game to compete with Stanford, USC, Utah, Oregon State and Washington State down the stretch.
ASU held the Huskies to 15 rushing yards on 12 carries . . .

The eventual winners of these two brackets will not play each other.
Only the 0-8 Oxnard Knights are excluded from playoff competition.
