My friend Daniel Castañon, who coaches the Serie C Gijon Mariners in Spain's northern province of Asturias, wrote me about LNFA's announcement today about the 2015 Serie B schedule of games.
As expected, your Murcia Cobras will play an eight game regular season slate of games. Each team will also have two BYE weeks during the season.
The big, positive surprise in the new schedule is that all Serie B teams play their first games in mid-January!
Last season the Cobras played their first game in December. For me, this January start date is a really good thing.

The exact day and times of these games will be determined at a later date.
In case you are not familiar with some of the cities where we will play, here is a quick rundown.
Santurtzi is a port town located in the Basque Country of northern Spain near the city of Bilbao in the Province of Biscay.
Zaragoza is a large city in northeast Spain's Aragon autonomous community in Zaragoza Province.
Barcelona is simply our favorite city in Spain, but it should be noted that we have not been to Murcia as of yet! Barcelona is a wondrous coastal city in the Province of Barcelona and is the spiritual capital of Catalonia.
Reus is also located in the northeast corner of Spain in the Catalonia community of Tarragona Province. It is a coastal town about 60 miles southwest of Barcelona.
Murcia is in the southeast corner of Spain in the Province of Murcia. The city is located:
500 miles southeast of Santurtzi
340 miles south of Zaragoza
365 miles southwest of Barcelona
305 miles southwest of Reus

I don't think that they are playing on Field Turf.
The Coyotes are in the orange helmets seen playing Daniel Casrañon's Gijon Mariners last year. He said that it was a marvelous place to play.
I can't wait to meet the Cobras and get started in a new, exciting EuroBall American football experience.
Go Cobras GO!!!

Up for a visit from Sweden while in Spain?
Johan,
If I have the time and MONEY this year, I would like to catch a game in all four of my previous EuroBall stops, i.e., Catania, Hässelholm, Thun and Bron-Villeurbane.
