Sports Uniform Talk is at it AGAIN!

Monday, August 17, 2026

The creative minds at Facebook's Sports Uniform Talk just refuse to rest.

Cases in point . . .

First today, they added a sixth team
to their fake Asian Football Association

"Fly High. Strike Fast. Defend Taiwan"

Welcome the Taiwan F-16's to the AFA!

I like the looks of the F-16's alternate uniforms.

As if creating the F-16's out of thin air was not enough on this pleasant Monday, they also came up with an alternate universe European Football Alliance not to be confused with the real world six team EFA that is composed of the:

Nordic Storm (10-1)
Munich Ravens (10-1)

Frankfurt Galaxy (4-7)
Paris Musketeers (4-7)

Tirol Raiders (2-8)
Prague Lions (2-8)

Here is Sports Uniform Talk's proposed
eight team, two conference set-up

First, let's take a look at the four team United Kingdom Conference.

England's London Kings Guard

I like the colors and their two alternate helmets.

Scotland's Glasgow Highlanders

An obvious choice for a mascot, solid colors and a sharp looking gold helmet.

Wales' Cardiff Red Dragons

Every aspect of the Red Dragons looks great to me.

Ireland's Dublin Shamrock

The Shamrock being in the United Kingdom Conference raises a few eyebrows and may incur the ire of the IRA.

Other than that, good branding again.

There are also four squads from the continent in this EFA's Union Conference.

Italy's Rome Gladiators

A trite mascot choice but they have great helmet and logo options.

Spain's Madrid Matadors

I'm not crazy about the look of the Matadors at all.

Germany's Munich Maulers

Not crazy about this club either.

The creative juices at Sports Uniform Talk may be ebbing quickly.

France's Paris Legion

I like their area helmet and mascot but the rest is just average for me.

Closer to home and in the realm of reality . . .

The high school season has
its kickoff this week

We'll be at Santa Barbara High School's venerable Peabody Stadium as grandson Jacob's Camarillo High School Frosh Scorpions take on the home team Dons at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.

I think that we'll make a day of it with a sumptuous lunch near the beach before the game.

Go Scorpions GO!
