Our train for London didn't leave until 2:10 p.m. so we checked out of our delightful B&B, walked to the nearby train station, checked our bags into the station's storage area and walked back into York's historic area one last time.
The things we saw!

Smokers Welcome!
Now that's something you don't see in the USA!

Revelry
First you lost a shoe, then your sun glasses, and now an entire dress. It was inevitable I guess.

The Mickelgate Bar
An entrance to the Old City of York

I love English news headlines

The rebuilt stocks at Holy Trinity Church

A Family's Tradgedy
Chronicled in Holy Trinity Church.

Laurie walking down a flowery path

York's Central Post Office
Camarillo's loses yet again.

Need Directions?

Excellent train of thought!

St. Wilfrid's Roman Catholic Church to the left of the Minster

Red Brick
England's great building medium

WHAT? By dying, WHAT?

Now you can't even drink in the sanctity of your own home!

The Guy Fawkes Inn for lunch

Two happy diners at the Guy Fawkes Inn

I liked the vibrant colors on this Pub Sign

This reminds me, I need to buy some Dodger tickets as soon as I hit home Wednesday!

An O.K. Shield

Even the North Eastern Railway has a great shield!

Heraldry even on a lamp post. . .

. . . and in a train station

The York Minster is just LOVELY!

Tanner Wrout has a moat named after him in York?
Cameron, you better pick up the pace!

Miss York 2009
She thought she heard that Tanner was at the train station and rushed over to see him. Alas, it was only Tanner's old coach, not Tanner.
Sorry.
ON TO LONDON!
