Rainy Monday

Monday, 19 January, 2015:

It started to rain last night on the way home from the Real Murcia game and has continued as an on again, off again light drizzle throughout the day.

Thus today was a perfect day top launder clothes, catch up on the local gossip at the Los Siscas Panaderia with Belén, continue working on the plans for our season opener against the 0-1 Santurtzi Coyotes next Sunday, read and mostly just stay dry.

We will have  our two practices tonight on the AstroMud field in Guadalupe from 6:30 to 10:30. I'm sure that I'll get well watered during that part of the night.

SURPRISE!!! It did not rain at practice but  it was indeed an AstroMud field nonetheless.

We had two great practices tonight, we are heading in the right direction!

Reading Is FUNdamental

Mankell is the great Swedish mystery novelist perhaps best known for his Detective Kurt Wallander series of books based in the city of Ystad in the Skåne region of southern Sweden.

Ystad is near where we lived in Sweden during the 201o while coaching the Hässleholm Hurricanes.

GREAT people in Hässleholm I must add!

This book was another great read from the Master of Swedish noir crime fiction even if Detective Wallander was not a character in it.
